We have already introduced Braille Skateboarding. Braille is dedicated to skateboarding in a unique way by encouraging skaters and fans through their platform not only to learn and improve their skating but also to try some of the wackiest and wildest skaters.

Braille has always been open to testing longboards and longboards, but it focuses on how this product is used in a more street-oriented skateboard scene like the skatepark. While some of the best longboarding equipment has its place in the skatepark, much of it is not designed for skaters facing stairs, cornices and rails.

In this episode, the Braille team receives a package from Hi5iber, manufacturer of carbon longboards and high quality skateboards. We walked on more than a few Hi5iber cards and they are definitely stiff, lightweight and the ones we tried were well suited for freeride and mobbing downhill. We certainly can not say that they were designed or anything that is convenient for the skatepark.

Watch how the Braille team looks with the Hi5iber carbon fiber deck, some wheels from Paris Trucks and Seismic Cry Baby while they play in the park.

Born in Vancouver, Les has been hiking and adventuring around the world most of his life. The practice of skateboarding facilitated travel, eventually leading to a long trekking adventure in Kenya. With a new appreciation for skateboards and some good relationships, Les has dropped everything to skateboard his life and, as they say, everything has changed since. Now editor at Skate [Slate] and one of the owners of Flatspot Longboards, Les is spending the rest of his time raising his first child, trendy skate-web, and skating with Coast Longboarding.
